We'll teach you everything you need to know about finding great contractors, negotiating with them, and managing them with confidence.

You'll learn how to work with all different types of people. Whether they're a GC that has a crew of their own, or a single skilled labor guy you can manage yourself... there are still a lot of questions to work out.

We'll teach you how to find great contractors, no matter what the economic conditions of your local labor market. 

Negotiating is another skill that's just a fact of life. You better get used to it, or you'll always be left on the other side of the table, asking yourself if you could have got a 'better deal'. We will show you hands-down, how to be a boss-man or boss-woman project manager. Command respect, act experienced even when you're new, and communicate your goals confidently.

Hands-On Construction Training

Construction can be intimidating, even for experienced investors. But confidence comes from knowledge, and knowledge comes with experience. We've jam-packed three days of intense, hands-on training with our contractors, followed by one day of real estate investing.

Whether you have absolutely no experience swinging a hammer or you've been in real estate for years, we've built this curriculum for you. This strict curriculum will allow us enough time to completely remodel an entire room in one weekend. 

And since we're maxing out the attendance to 10 people per event, you get the quality of instruction in a small group setting. We're even catering lunch every day to make sure we make the best use of our time together.

We'll start with laying the foundation- discussing proper safety protocol, how to use all the major power-tools, and basic rules for a construction site. Then, we'll jump into training!

Finally, on Saturday, we'll take a detailed tour of Home Depot. We'll walk you through every aisle, show you how to set up a Pro account, rent tools, get bulk deals on materials, and much more!

You'll get hands-on instruction on the following:

  • ​Drywall: Hanging and finishing drywall. 
  • Electrical: Components of an electrical panel, install circuits, remove old wiring, replace outlets & light fixtures, and ceiling fans on your own. 
  • ​Flooring: Measuring, cutting & installing vinyl plank flooring
  • Baseboards: Measure & installing baseboards, shoe moulding & how to cut outside corners, inside corners, angles & returns. We'll also teach you how to use a miter saw safely & easily.
  • ​Paint: Selecting the proper type of paint & equipment, using painter's tape, prepping walls & trim, using a paint sprayer, and how to paint ceilings, door & window trim, and baseboards.
  • Windows & Doors: We'll show you how to measure, order and install windows, and how to hang an interior and exterior door from scratch.
  • ​Exteriors- Roofing, Siding & Gutters: We wont have time to train hands-on installing exteriors, but we will teach you everything you need to know on pricing, components, materials, and install.

About Us

Bobby O'Mahony

I was born with a chronic illness called Cystic Fibrosis with a life expectancy of 32 years old. My health and life was in serious jeopardy at the age of 30. I Constantly had constricted lungs and almost every day of 2019 I was coughing up blood. I was on home IVs for 8 weeks at a time, only to come off for a month and then resume IV antibiotics afterwards. It was a virtuous cycle. I was headed for the lung transplant list with a lung function of 33%.

In November of 2019 my life completely changed. A breakthrough approval in the cystic fibrosis community came to fruition. A pill called Trikafta ($300,000 a year!) came to the market. 

Within hours of taking the pill, my lungs that had been suffocated all my life, were clearing the mucous that had choked them out for so long. I can attest that there is no worse feeling than being at rock bottom with your health (something you have no control of). 

I come from a no excuse background. I had every reason to quit and never did. If you feel like you are having a tough time financially (something you can control) this course can teach you how to turn your life around. 

In 2019 while I was sick as a dog I owned 14 units. In the last 26 months, I’ve purchased 59 more units bringing my total to 73. I purchased those 59 without laying out a single dollar. I can teach you how to leverage and use other tools to grow a real estate empire.

I have Never lost on a real estate deal. You can make money in any real estate market- hot or cold. With my system you may not make as much money as you thought but you won’t lose. I minimize risk and maximize value. 

The ability to identify a properties worth and value add is my specialty. I have a tremendous passion for real estate. People dread going to work on Mondays. I get fired up when the week is starting. I control my future, and it’s one of the greatest feelings out there.

Jared Lichtin

I started flipping houses in 2014, after I got out of law school. On the outside I had a cushy lawyer job, but on the inside, I was dead. I had 3 bosses, and no control over my life. I was told where to go, and what to do every day. 

I started flipping one project at a time, while I worked. I was getting pretty good at it, but life happened in 2015. 

I injured my back one night when I jumped over a gate at my friend's apartment. I had a large herniated disc in my low back, and I couldn't walk. 

I was on steroid packs, pain killers, and got two steroid injections in my back. Every doctor I saw told me I needed back surgery, and I almost did it. Until I found Dr. John Bergman, a popular YouTube chiropractor.

I moved out to California to see him in 2016, and he legitimately saved my life. I was adjusted over 250x in 2016. 

I had big ambitions, and tried stay in California while flipping houses in Cleveland. But I partnered with the wrong people, the wrong contractors, and the wrong lenders. I did everything too quickly, and I paid the price. I used hard money, paid contractors on credit, tried paying people by the hour, bought houses without going inside, and barely kept track of expenses. 

My ego was bigger than my ambition.

I was humbled pretty hard. In 2018, I had to sue my partner, sell all my properties, and start again literally from nothing. I had lost everything- over $300,000... and a lot of it was my friends' money. I had to restructure my mentality, move back to Cleveland, and work hard to pay back my investors. 

But sometimes the brightest light comes from the darkest places.

In November of 2019, I met Bobby. We had very similar mentalities about real estate, and ambition to push through adversity. We started partnering on projects, and got into a nice rhythm. Bobby has taught me to do things the right way, have strict boundaries with the numbers, and work with good people.

I've been selling roofing for a local exteriors company since 2020, and I'm almost done paying back investors from 2018.

I've never been more dedicated to building legacy wealth for my family's future. 

And I want to do the same for you.

Frequently Asked Questions 

What dates are the trainings held?
We have 3 trainings in 2022, all starting Thursdays and ending Sunday nights. August 11-14, October 6-9, and December 8-11.
What is the cost to attend?
Our 2022 Skills 4 Life events are $5,000.  The price will likely go up in 2023, but we do offer group and military discounts. If you & your spouse, friends or family want to inquire about attending together, text us at (833)-641-0103.
What travel expenses am I on the hook for?
Whether you're flying or driving, you are required to pay for your own travel. We suggest you look at flights to Cleveland, Ohio prior to registering. You do not necessarily need to rent a car. If you're staying at the designated hotel [TBD], we can pick you up and drive you to the jobsite each day. The drive is no more than 15 minutes.
What is the schedule like each day?
You'll be arriving at 9 am, and working until about 5-6pm. Lunch around 1. After that, your time is your own to hang out together, explore the city, or spend time with us. 
What amenities are available at the job-site?
All sites will have a clean restroom, air conditioning, heat, comfortable seating, toiletries, water and snacks.
What food expenses are covered for the event?
Lunch is catered every day. Additionally, dinner will be covered on Sunday night. 
Are the instructional trainings safe? 
Yes, we will train on proper safety protocol and tool usage. Additionally, eye protection and gloves will be provided. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver in case of injury. 
Are the trainings recorded?
Yes, every day will be recorded on video for you to keep forever. They will be delivered to you shortly after the event. 
What will I learn in the construction training?
The basics of construction will be covered. Followed by: how to use the main power tools, safety protocol, how to hang drywall, framing, electrical components, how to install electrical fixtures, how to mud & finish drywall, how to paint, install a window, hang a door, install vinyl flooring, trim & baseboards. We will also cover hands-off instruction & pricing of other components, like exteriors- roofing, siding & gutters.
What clothes should I wear?
You should be prepared to get paint and dirt on a few pairs of clothes. Bring comfortable clothes that you don't care about, or buy some shirts at a thrift store! We suggest a backpack to carry extra clothes, socks, shoes, toiletries, etc.

Any closed-toed shoes, preferably tennis shoes, sneakers, or boots, are fine. Again, be prepared to possibly get stains or paint on what you wear!
How many people are in the classes?
We are limiting each class to ten (10) people, in order to keep the quality of small-group instruction.
Do you offer payment plans?

Are deposits non-refundable?
Yes, all deposits are non-refundable. However, we understand that life happens. If something comes up that prevents you from attending, you may move your class session to a later date at no-cost.
